Munky Packing Machines was born from a simple belief — that great engineering, honest intentions, and the right technology can transform the way India packs its food. What began as an automation enthusiast’s curiosity has grown into one of the country’s most trusted names in automatic pouch packing machinery.
Our story starts with our founder, Mayank Shekhar, an engineering graduate in Electrical and Electronics. Early in his career, while working in his family’s automotive components business, Mayank spent years implementing automation projects on the shop floor. A chance visit to a food packaging company changed everything. He saw first-hand how much potential automation held in the packaging space — and how much improvement the industry needed in accuracy, speed, and reliability.
That moment sparked a vision.
Mayank began by developing computerized controllers for packaging machines, and soon expanded into manufacturing complete packaging systems. His passion for sharing knowledge led him to author nine books on packing technology and build a thriving YouTube channel, MayankShekharMunky, where lakhss rely on his educational content for authentic, practical insights. His values of honesty, hard work, discipline, and problem-solving continue to guide everything we do.
Established as a dedicated manufacturing unit in 2016 in Faridabad, Haryana, Munky Packing Machines has grown steadily — driven not by marketing, but by the trust of customers whose operations we help transform. Today, we offer over 37 models, have installed more than 1,200 machines across India, and continue to develop new technologies that redefine efficiency.

Founder's Message
When I first stepped into the world of automation, I never imagined that a visit to a food packaging facility would completely change the direction of my career — and my life. Coming from an engineering background and working in our family’s automotive business, automation was always close to my heart. But that one visit opened my eyes to an industry that was ready for transformation.
I saw challenges in accuracy.
I saw inefficiencies created by manpower shortages.
I saw the struggle to maintain consistency in sealing and weight.
But more importantly, I saw opportunity.
I started small — building computerized controllers for packaging machines. As I learned more, my passion grew stronger. Soon, we evolved into manufacturing complete pouch packing machines, and in 2016, I took a leap of faith and established Munky Packing Machines as a dedicated, standalone business.
My commitment to this industry goes beyond machinery. I believe knowledge should be shared, not hidden. This belief led me to author nine books on packing technology and start my YouTube channel, where I share authentic insights with thousands of manufacturers and engineers who want to learn and grow.
Today, Munky is much more than a company.
